Augusta Text Messaging Opt-in Policy

As part of using Augusta, we offer 2 ways to opt-in to receiving our text messages.

There are 2 types of text messages, each with a different opt-in.

Job Application Reminders and Notifications

When you apply to a job within Augusta, you opt-in via the smart application of the agency you applied for. In the third step of the application, you will see the following, and by clicking on Submit Job Application, you’re opting in text reminders and notifications specific to the job you applied. 

Job Recommendations and Reapplications

From time to time, you may receive job recommendations from the same employers you’ve applied to or from new employers. You shouldn’t receive more than 1 message a month, and typically only a few per year.

After receiving a text message like the one below, you can opt-in by typing in any of those words, ‘y’, ‘yes, ‘job’ or ‘start’:
